Hello all the overwhelming and amazing people on the other side. I am Arpita Sathyanarayanan, an aspiring biotech, undergrad student. When I was a kid, I used to believe that medicine and pills little magical things that came enclosed in capsules sometimes, but had great powers to heal almost any kinds of illness.
I used to think that no matter how sick or how painful a disease is doctors would offer these magical portions called as medicines and all the pain used to vanish within hours of their consumption. I was always so curious about finding out the real magic behind the curtains.
As I grew up, my curiosity turned into ambition and my goal to find out the answer for all my questions as to ‘how these medicine work?’ and ‘how sometimes it works better in some individuals and sometimes it doesn’t?’ leading to pursue biotechnology.
Molecular drug designing and their application is an ever-growing and a large field. It is very easy to get lost in the pool of information from the various sources. So here in this platform, I would like to share whatever little knowledge I have about the basics of this field, with all those inquisitive and curious beings in this world, which have had the same doubts as I and want to know the mode of action, more precisely the mechanism of various drugs that are used clinically. I'm here to keep abreast of all the advances and technologies that have emerged in this field, continue learning about the subject so that I can use this opportunity to share even better information about this subject.
